PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

 

SOURCE ADVERTISING  - Art Director/Graphic Designer

Overall description: To develop marketing communication campaigns, and specifically, to layout and design advertising to sell goods and services by presenting products accurately, concisely and persuasively in an appealing manner stressing benefits and features. 

  • Develops advertising concepts in close concert with writers and other agency team members.
  • Worked or currently working with high level clients. These clients included, SUBWAY restaurants, Wise Potato Chips, Sony line of cameras, FujiFilm for WalMart, CohnReznick Accounting and Consulting firm, Amtrak and the 2014 Super Bowl Host Committee.
  • Understands and executes creative strategies.
  • Ability to art direct and design for a variety of medium.
  • Made sure that jobs were print ready and run through mechanical before being released to the client. Managed interns and a team of other like minded creative individuals.
  • Assist the creative team in the creation of RFPs to potential clients that Source would pitch to. 

PIERRE DEUX  - Digital Coordinator/Junior Online Manager

  • Responsible for all the website maintenance on pierredeux.com and FCLstyle.com and coordinated projects with internal members. These tasks include the adding and removal of retail products, creating new homepage images that help promote the brand, and coming up with various website comps for to give the website an overall fresh look and feel.
  • Assists in the creation of email blasts from planning to completion; gathering and distribution of web traffic and internal sales reports.
  • Managed all the creative ad placement in numerous periodicals through out the United States, including the Wall Street Journal and local market newspapers.
  • The position also included the management of an intern as well. I would give the intern their daily tasks that needed to be completed and made sure to check in with them regularly through out the day to see how progress was coming along.
  • I was apart of weekly design and marketing meetings to strategize the best way to make our brand more appealing the consumer.
  • Helped with the promotion of the brand through social media such as facebook and twitter. This included daily updates through out the week about our different sales, and interacting with members of these social media outlets.

GREAT NORTHERN CORPORATION - Design Intern

  • Helped assist on various client accounts such as Lexmark, M&M/Mars, Hasbro Toys, Time Warner, and Tervis Tumbler.
  • Worked on the structural concept and design of different POP displays all the way to the final production piece.
  • Assisted in the physical building of prototype displays for client approval before they go out for mass production.
  • Worked with marketing and sales representatives of Great Northern Corporation who facilitated information between myself and the client.

MADISON SQUARE GARDEN  - Creative Solutions Department Intern

  • Presentation preparation using powerpoint, inputting all necessary graphics and body copy provided by superiors.
  • Weekly status meetings with VP of department
  • Manage print production of sales presentations by working closely with local printers.
  • Organize and maintain file/folder system
  • Worked closely with VP of my department to ensure that all jobs I was responsible for met their deadline.
  • Assisted in the creative and brainstorming process to promote potential prospects at MSG and promote the various NY sports teams at various vendors and business establishments. 

@RADICAL MEDIA  - Creative Department Intern

  • Worked with creative team to come up with ideas and solutions to present to clients.
  • Scanned and retouched photos for the art director of my department. Photos were used for campaigns and projects for clients. 
  • Assisted with the print production and construction of sales presentations.
  • Helped with the organization and file management system on the companies servers.
